YEAH! We almost did it!!! UPDATE!!

Thank you all so much for your help in answering questions for us newbies. We stayed up til midnight last night and watched the first of our 13 eggs hatch and this morning when we got up we had 7 so far. They have it such a mess in there it is hard to see the remaining eggs, I know two have piped but not sure about the others. Do i still need to keep that temp up now that some are hatching? I know they stay in for 24 hours to dry up and all but once they all hatch (if they do) do I lower temp a bit? Just curious. We are so excited, I live in town

but I need to do this again.

I am hoping my friend that loaned us the eggs and the bator is ready for lots of chicks

We are up to 10 with 3 to go. Hoping they all hatch!! Woohoo

You can take them out and put them in a warm ( 90 - 95 F degree) brooder but don't change the temp in that bator until you are sure the other eggs are finished hatching or you feel they are lost.

Work quickly. You don't want to loose the heat and humidity by keeping it open for long.

Chicks do well inside the bator for up to 3 days while the rest of them hatch..they need to fluff out well before going into a brooder box...I would not open the bator if you have pips coming along...do not drop your temp down ...your humidity should be ok as chicks start to hatch they had to the humidity level...
