year old chicken with distended abdomen, waddles like a duck

We have one year-old free-range hen who hangs out with the flock, eats normally, runs a bit slower and walks like a duck, due to the fact that her abdomen is distended. I don't know that she has ever laid an egg. Actually it looks like she has a belly full of eggs, but she is lively and doesn't spend time trying to lay. She doesn't show the other symptoms of an unhappy, egg bound hen. Is there possibly something else wrong?
