year old hens, double yolks constanly. help please?

i have 2 rirs who keep laying double yolkers. i got them last june in 2011. is this a good thing or a bad thing? i love double yolks but i dont want them to run out of eggs sooner than usual. can anyone help me? this usually happens to hens just starting to lay eggs. but this is odd. again, help would do great.

I get double yolks from one of my chickens. She has never missed a day, and they say it has no effect on their production time. I have heard of my friends chickens laying a five yolk, and it actually killing the chicken.
