Okay, so my hens are finally starting to be profitable!

I am getting a jillion eggs a day, and they are finally fertile!

Now, when I get some, I'll pop em straight in the incubator, and magically, in 18 days, MAGIC QUAIL BABIES!

How many quails do you have and what kind? Coturnix?

About 80 right now, mostly coturnix with a pair of bobs.

I love the little suckers! We have tuxedos, I think some tuxedo reds, browns, goldens, a few A&Ms, English Whites, and some tibetans. They are awesome!

That is great!! I can't wait until I've got my little hobby/meat production going.. I was so happy to see veins in some of my eggs this morning, and I've never even been around a live quail

I love my little buggers to! I just got mine on Friday from a fellow BYCer friend. They've given me a total of 5 eggies so far, but my father doesn't want me to hatch anymore since we live in the city LOL
