That was happening to me yesterday. I would click "mark this forum as read" and when the index loaded, there would be the yellw chick - right where I just was. Then, I'd go into that forum... an no new posts.
Hmmm... didn't do it to me today.
Have you tried signing out & then back in?
I just put up with it. It's back to normal for me today.

ok so i logged out and back in. now i have no baby chicks in "show all posts" and in "recent posts" there are only 4 chicks at the top, and it shows all others read. When clearly I never read any of those.

Very strange. Usually reloading does the trick.

I have noticed the little yellow chick has been wrong just a bit lately myself. Just a bit. But you aren't crazy, sometimes it doesn't 'stick'.

Keep an eye on it and let me know if it is on specific pages, sections, times, etc. That way we can narrow down if / where / when the problem is.
