I got them at Tractor Supply, I figure they can't be exotic- a week old so the wing feathers were already growing out and they'll have black 'stripes'. rest of the chick is yellow. Any ideas?

did I do this right? I really AM a new egg!

Can you post a picture. It would help.

No feathers on the legs, they look like there is some black coming in on the tail feathers, too.

not that great of a picture but looks like a Delaware hatchery version..what color are the legs on it? The Dels have the wing and tail black..roos have the barring on the tail feathers and some sooty smutty looking barring type coloring across the shoulders..pullets most often wont(but some can) and pullets tails have more solid black in them-not solid but blotches not bars and I'm sure there is a correct term for it that escapes this brain at the moment(family dog died and kids are crying everywhere) but often have a few barred feathers that magically vanish when they get older.
We have lots of EE's that look like that..when we crossed my heritage Delaware to my true Ameraucana we got Deleeware's

Did you get all yellow chicks? Were there orange ones in with them? The ones we got from TSC last year were sex-links and the yellow ones were the males...the orange ones were girls. There were also ones a little darker brown, RIR...

They came from a bin marked "pullets" but I know there were some blaxk sex link males in there too... Their legs are yellow (orange?) and the comb is a single with bumps- can you tell these are some of my first chicks?
