Yellow Ear Crust. Need advice from the BYC Pros

I went out to the coop this morning and noticed a droopy hen hanging out when everyone else had headed out for the day. She has yellow goopy crust on her ear holes and continually opens her mouth like she's yawning or trying to remove something from her throat. I haven't heard her coughing or sneezing, she's just opening her mouth really wide. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?

Welcome to BYC. She could have a respiratory disease or ear infection.
