Yellow ears on hen

can anyone tell me what breed this might be. Probably a mix since I bought the “mystery chick assortment “ Just curious where the yellow ears come from. She is also a bantam I would guess by her size. I am thinking the little pointed eggs are hers.

Thank you. They might not look it, but those 2 eggs are the narrowest pointed eggs I have ever seen. She must of just started laying.

She does look like a hatchery quality black leghorn. Some additional DNA might help explain the tint to her earlobes and the off white color of her eggs.

What hatchery did she come from?
She does look like a black leghorn. The first ones I got where small for leghorn. Not quite bantam size but easily smaller then whites and browns.
And every one of them laid the long slender pointy eggs just like your pic.
Also have some of various colors with a yellowish tint to their earlobes.

Which hatchery, and which assortment? The assortments are not usually mixes.you shouldn't get mixes from a hatchery. The asst. just means a variety of different breeds they have. Could ou get a better picture of her?

Tomorrow I will get a closer picture. She came from Sandhill and was the mystery chick asst. Said they were working on colored egg layers. Her and 1 other rooster looked like a matched pair. Both with the yellow ears and more flighty.

Just check Sand Hill's add. They breed and sell black leghorns. I believe that is what she is.
