Yellow silkie

Hi, so why is my silkie yellow? It’s a bantam white silkie. Is it just bad breeding? I’ve heard of a yellow silkie and I think its just bad breeding. (The picture is not mine just looks a lot like her)

Looks and sounds like you have a Buff Silkie.

It’s a bantam it weighs about a pound and a half is it going to get bigger?

Post pictures of your bird, please?

Some whites are Dominant white instead of Recessive white, & carry a bunch of genes that aren't seen until being bred.

That is her she is about six months old

Do you have pictures of the parents? Also, do you have any other color of silkie besides white?
