Yellow sticky substance oozing out of pipped egg

So I have a duck egg that’s pipped, I have 2 hatched ducks bumping the eggs around in there and they just happened to roll this pipped egg on its side and that’s when I noticed the yellow stuff oozing out. I quickly pulled the egg out and candled it to see if it was alive still. And it was. The membrane where he had pipped was clear and sticky so I carefully opened up his pip hole to make sure he wasn’t drowning. His membrane is so wet with this yellow stuff. I took a Qtip and cleared as much out of his mouth as possible and cleaned his beak off so it didn’t dry over his nostrils. He still has active blood vessels so I wrapped his egg in a damp piece of paper towel and put him in his own incubator. I hope he makes it 😔
Any idea what happened in his egg? Any suggestions on what else I should do?

I haven’t had this issue yet but wondering if he had to much fluid left In his egg at hatch time
What did you run for humidity throughout ? What did the egg look like while candling ?
If it is to much left in the egg make sure babies nose and mouth stay clear of it

I had my humidity at 50% until lock down then it’s been at 70% for hatching. Nose and mouth are clear. I moved him to his own incubator and seems to be doing good in there still. Was going to wait until those blood vessels absorb and maybe assist his hatch as that yellow fluid dries rock hard 😳 I’ve had 4 others hatch today and non were like this

Nothing abnormal when I candled it
