Yellowish Urates

Yesterday I notice my rooster poop's have some off white yellowish urates in his poop .
He is year old I'm very worried after seeing . he is a home chicken live inside with me 24X7
I'm seriously worried cause its strange thing I don't know about I really love my roosters

I don't think you should be concerned. Our chook poo always looks like that. But why is his poo GREEN? Ours is brown. Maybe it's what you feed him.



Oh it's green cause they eat only millet & fresh corn as primary feed I live in India we only have millet in chicken feed we don't have any commercial feed so I give millet & fresh corn with treats also I give regularly vitamins for complete nutrients I know their feed had less nutrients
 
While bright white urates are prefered, they can be off white, even a tad yellowish and still the bird is fine. Its the stark yellow urates that are worrisome.

Urates can turn yellow for a variety of reasons. E.coli, Salmonella, yeast infections, Kidney infections, even simple dehydration can cause yellow urates.

As for the above picture, the bird could be dehydrated a bit. Keep an eye on the poop for a while. If this were my bird, I wouldn't do anything about this yet. Try to get more hydrating foods into your flock.

Yes maybe u right its too hot here about 45C no raining I'll give them cold water I'll keep ur advise and updated ..:hugsmany thanks
