Hello Barbara, how does the crow collar work on ur orp roo? does he still crow really loud? I as well am in the city but really want an orpington roo for my ladies. please let me know how it works for him, it doesnt seem to work atall for my silkie roo, maybe cuz his neck is too small maybe??

Hello The no crow collar only reduces the noise and has to be placed around the crows neck very tightly. To be honest it's no life for a rooster as it is very much a part of their existence to crow and makes their necks very sore. They can have breathing issues especially in the hot summer months with the collar on. We were forced by our city to find a new home for Nugget. Nugget is in the best place doing the job he was made to do organising about 20 free ranging hens and caring for the flocks needs. He is able to crow his head off proud and strong now in the country . We loved Nugget as a pet and for that reason we made sure he had a good home.
