Any clue? We thought we had 4 RIR's & one lighter (and one meatie), but after looking at some other pics here, I think the light colored one is a RIR, and the other 3 may be something else? Any guess about the one on the Right?

As babies - the light one is the one we think is a meatie of some sort (CornishX?).

The top pic looks like a Red sexlink on the left and a production red on the right. The last pic is a Cornish X meat bird. Short lived and for that reason do not make good pets. Would be best for what they were developed for, Meat.

The RIR will be just that, more red, and more solid coloring. The sex link or production reds will have more white or lighter colored feathers. Both will lay nice big eggs for you and the RIR's have funny personalities, rahter bold and tend to be more alpha than the productions. (at least in my limited 3 years of raising chickens.) Either way, you will have fun with your chicks.
