Yet another coop

I figured I would start a thread about my coop that I have been building for the last few months. Now all I need to do is get my eggs and the incubator going!

The coop is half of an old 12x8 shed that I had to rebuild all the walls on because the last owner used chip board covered with metal roof paint. Let us just say the didn't work too well.



Floor is down and three sides refinished. Ran out of siding and had to wait four weeks for the mill to get some more cut.



Outside has now been resided with poplar board and battens. NOTHING in the shed is or was square!

Luckily I had electricity already run to a neighboring shed and only had to dig a tench and lay some PVC conduit to get it in the coop.


And finally all the wood came and I finished the outside with an old window from when they had replacement windows put in the house.

The roosts I made up. I am still undecided if I am going to put up some boards to make a retainer so I can out down some of the stall freshener,

Thanks it has been a long project! I started this back at Thanksgiving and still have a few small things left to do like cut the pop door in the wall and make the track for it.
