That's a big difference stick your hand in the incubator and feel foes it feel like 73 or 100

Oh wait 95 or 100 I would trust the built in one bit you could buy a third and see

Unless it's a $500 plus unit never trust the built in unit. Even in that situation you still always want to use three thermometers (of different origin in possible). When you go to the store to look at thermometers look through the entire inventory of them and you'll find very few read the same temp at the same time.
