Thanks for your input, everyone! She's confused me from day one. Had big legs and feet and very red comb from the start. Grew faster too, so I lined up a friend who makes a lovely coq a vin, but now she's not showing typical male feathering as far as my inexperience can tell. No crowing or aggression. I don't really have anyone to compare to since Topknot clearly isn't what she's supposed to be either!

The thick leg theory doesn't actually work, as I've got pullets with beefy legs/shanks, & cockerels/roosters with slim.
