Hello, I'm new to not only BYC but also "chickenhood." My partner, her daughter and I live in the Cottage Crove area on 5 acres with quiet a menagerie of furry and feathered family. This includes an 8 y/o black lab, 7 y/o yellow lab, 7 y/o pomerian doxie mix, 14 y/o yellow lab, 6 cuddly and crazy cats of various shapes, sizes and ages, 5 roudy rats, a handful of fishies, 2 brahmas, 1 polish crested, 1 buff orpington, 1 brown sex link, 1 silver wyandotte, 6 mixed variety, 9 chicks-in-waiting under a mixed variety brooding hen.
