Our first egg...we're soooo proud! AND excited!!
Our one White-Leghorn seemed to be acting strange yesterday. Not really hanging around with the other girls. She was on her own agenda. I had a feeling she was getting ready to lay just the way she was acting. We were laughing at her yesterday because her comb got a little top-heavy. I told my husband it looked like she had a COMB-OVER

Another first yesterday. I had been on the forum the other day and read a post about a chicken eating a mouse...was really surprised but someone replied that they will do that and mentioned that they also will eat frogs. WELL, my girls got ahold of a frog yesterday and the CHASE

was ON.
They kept stealing it from one another, it was funny

Very pretty! And what a nice shade of yellow. I wish I had an egg to fry. I'm jealous. I have to eat the nieghbor's eggs still. My girls are still not laying.
