yikes! covered with hives!!! (UPDATE!)

i have to have a Head MRI tonight. (i have had an issue with seizures and blood sugar...blah blah blah)

because i have had a deadly reaction to a medication (anaphylactic) before, i have to pre-medicate for for the MRI with Prednisone, to protect me in case of anaphylaxis.

took my first dose this a.m. guess what? i am covered with HIVES!

go figure! itchy, but funny! oh, did i say ITCHY!!!

(oh, before anyone wonders...did report it, took benedryl and will with each dose!)

You sound like me - If I use neosporin I break out in blisters.

i am super sensitive to everything. we're used to it here.

deb, given your issue there i highly recommend NOT using preparation H for under eye bags, regardless of what the stylists to the stars say....

my MIL is allergic to red dye. That includes foods and meds. She has a heck of a time getting meds that are all white and food with no red dye in it.

blue dye gives me seizures if I have it for several days in a row.

Just be careful and take care of you!

I broke out in hives twice in the last couple of years. Once on an airplane (ew), and the other when my makeup went bad. I also occassionally break out in hives when I drink Midori Sours... those hives are worth getting.
