I'm wondering if you guys can tell if she is a he....Easter Egger chick, and this photo is about a week old. I can haul out the camera and get something more recent if s/he's too young to tell here. I have two Easter Eggers, now six weeks old, along with two Buff Orpingtons the same age, and s/he is much bigger than everyone else! I sure hope not, because I already have a rooster and it's hard to find homes for the boys (having been through this last year, also with an EE.) Thanks for any expertise in chicken sexing that anybody has.

EEr's are hard to sex, at 6 weeks all you can really do is compare to the comb of the other EE. Maybe you might start to see(or not see hopefully) some shinier tail feathers starting.
This happened to me recently with an Ameraucana that I was "sure" was a pullet, until I noticed "her" comb was definately showing more red than the others, irridescent tail feathers,......then......the dreaded morning crow/croak.

that is a cockeral, you can tell by the red on the shoulders, the thick legs and the already reddening comb

It's A Rooster (I Think). Cause I Have 7 Baby Hens, And A Baby Rooster Looks Differeent. It Looks Differrent Than A Baby Hen Would Look.
