yogurt for chickens?

[Scrambled Egg]

I have not fed my chickens yogurt until this morning. I put a good bit of vanilla yogurt in a bowl and took it out to them before I went to work and they were so busy eating they didn't pay any attention to my leaving which they normally do. They got so focused on that yogurt they couldn't eat it fast enough!! They got quiet like people do when they get a great meal, very funny! Needless to say they ate every bit of it! I will most definately be adding that to their treat list!

I've also tried it recently, and had great success with it, except for with my single phoenix chick, she's very formal. I mix it in with crimped oats(left over treat from when I had my goat) and hen scratch(I only give them scratch once a week) and they go nuts for it. It was really funny.
