Yogurt Not A Hit...Is There A Certain Flavor I Should Use?

Trifecta, That's how mine acted. They kept wiping their beaks off and just started walking in it. I did take it out. Maybe a few baby crickets would make it more appealing? :>))

What is the average age everyone started giving it?

Just tried it out yesterday with my 6 week and 2 week olds-- both groups ate it, but not very well-- i think it is a matter of not having something to grab onto-- they walked all over it and kept wiping their beaks but did eat it-- very messy-- I think mixing it with something is a good idea...

I start mine at about 2 weeks: once I know they're well established on their feed and have adjusted to their new digs.

why feed a chicken yogurt? you wanna see it go nuts buy a box of worms at the store!! im not even sure yogurt is natural from humans to eat much less a chicken..lol

I've heard a lot of people giving chickens yogurt. Why is that? One woman told me it's high in calcium but I would think they could get more from greens like kale. Just wondering.

I was thinking it was good for the gut, with the probiotics that are in it.
