    Welcome to the yogurt thread!
What yogurt works best with your chickies? What brands? What flavours?
My question: Can you feed chickens plain yogurt?[IMG]

I make our yogurt with whole milk. The chickens seem to like it no matter what is with it. Usually they get plain, but they are just as happy if there is honey mixed in (leftover from my kiddos) and really like it with oats too (again leftover from the kids). I think as long as there is not alot of sweetener it is fine.

    Great!
I just tried giving my chickies plain yogurt mixed in with soft breadcrums and scratch.
    They LOVED it![IMG]

Be careful when feeding your chickens yogurt. The chickens digestive system cannot handle dairy products very well. It may cause them to have diareha.
