I have recently heard that feeding chickens yogurt can double their laying rate and im a bit sceptical about this, so im just wondering if it increases the laying rate and if it does is their any negative side effects i need to worry about?

Ah, you must have seen the FB thing going around about feeding expired yogurt.
Someone on the fermented feed thread dove into that and found all kinds of inaccuracies behind that 'click bait' pic and claim....that is now being disseminated voraciously...SMH.
