yolk? guts? HELP !

hello this little guy hatched about 5:15 this morning. it has something hanging out

guts? yolk? leave it ? tie it off ? HELP PLEASE

You'll want to get it away from the other chicks/eggs as the bacteria will get bad really quickly.

the gut is red I did not help the chick out It hatched on its own I'll remove the other chicks now. what about the other eggs ? put in other hatcher ?

I had a few hatch on me in December that had the intestines hanging out. I used a q-tip with warm water to gently twist and push them back in. They closed up fairly quickly and are healthy as horses now. I didn't have any that bad though, it might be too late to help by the time you read this though I certianly hope not. If so, at least you will know for next time. There's lots of threads on here talking about doing the q-tip thing and then putting a band-aid over the hole. I hope he makes it!
