Yolk outside of laying box

One of my girls laid their 1st egg today and I saw this yolk outside of the box...what on earth? I have 2 hens showing the signs they are close to laying so I’m not sure which one it was: either the Plymouth Barred Rock or the Princess Calico.

Doubt it, probably different hen. My half dozen dropped a few yolks, layed some soft shelled eggs, made a general mess till they got things sorted out. Took a couple weeks.
