Hey all...My last little Delaware that hatched came out with a bit more yolk on it than I have seen before.

The chic dried OK but has a lot of sticky left on it...also some eggshell bits too.

Can the chic be cleaned? and if so...how or with what?

Or should I just let the chick take care of it?

A warm, damp washcloth (water, no soap) can be used to get off the worst of it. Then you can put the little fellow in the brooder to dry off

I will do that and then we are off to the poultry show in Lake city.
