Yonnie, Newbie... saying Hi!

I have two Road Island Reds that were bought for my 6 day care kids. And, because I love having chickens and think they are a great learning tool! But alas living in town i need to limet the chickens to two.... I have two because everyone needs a friend! The day care kids love them and they all get along together well. Since the younger of the group of two year olds just turned 2 1/2 years old I felt it was time to introduce chickens now. Here is a picture of one of the little folks meeting the new chicks. He felt it important to kiss the newcomer!
