You all were right!

I'm not sure you remember me but I'm the one with 2 incubators full of eggs that didn't hatch because my hubby insisted the rooster was a rooster when in fact it was a hen.

Well, since we got the right combination of M/F going we have been putting the eggs in the incubator as they are laid, along with a couple of dozen from my father in law. Last night, on day 6, I decided to candle them. It was amazing! I could see the veins, the little chick blips and even some movement in one!

You all are the best!

PS...I'm not letting my hubby live down the hen vs rooster incident. I ask him every day if his miracle rooster has laid another egg. I'm so mean! hehehe

Good for you! I'm glad that this time around things are looking good. It does help when you get a roo in there with the hens!
