The scenario: 2 6 wkish Straight Run Bantam Chicks
Your mission: Gender guesses for Chick 1. I am pretty confident Chick 2 is a Roo, but if your opinion differs, please let me know.

Breed in technically unknown. Some guesses is that Chick 1 is an OEG & Chick 2 is BCM. What do you think?

Also, at what age do Roos start crowing?? I want to know what to look out for.

Thanks for your reply. Chick #1 has been throwing me off based on personality: "She" is much sweeter, calmer & demure than Chick 2.
Also the comb was never prevalent like it was in Chick 2 until a few days ago. I only plan on keeping 1 Roo, so if they are both I need
to get rid of one.

Thanks! That is the one we are keeping. I am pretty confident he isn't pure breed, but he looks so masculine & has a heck of a personality!
My kids, however, are attached are the other one (chick 1).
