My Mum does the plastic crap toys too, she'll bring a whole bag of toys over for my 6 year old every time we see her and then at christmas she askes what to get him. I say to her Well If you didn't bring him 6 toys everytime you visisted you would have some thing to give him,. I 'll tell her I've just cleaned out his toy box and given alot of toys to charity because he has way to many, she'll agree that he does have alot but then the next week she'll bring more toys over AHHHH. I can't get through to her lol
His room looks like a toy store

I like to do one different task every day, and then a couple of the same chores everyday. For example, dishes and litterboxes are done everyday. Monday is dusting, tuesday floors, Wednesday kitchen cupboards and fridge, friday bathroom, etc,
The main thing I have trouble with is the laundry. We don't have any dressers, and just a couple shelves in our very small closet. The clothing stays clean in laundry baskets, or dirty in the washing machine, or on the bedroom floor.
It took me a really long time to get into a cleaning regimen. I used to try and do the whole place on just one day a week, and let it build up during the week. Then there would be such a mess that I would put if off, especially dishes as I have to do them by hand. Then the house would get so filthy that when I finally got around to it, it would take all day.
Now its easy peasy!

I'm guilty of that one. I have a pile of clean unfolded clothes in the laundry room that is fondly known as Clothes Mountain.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a clothes mountain.

Although sometimes I find my children jumping off my bed into it. Also found my daughter making a "clothes angel" (like a snow angel) one day. I think it was a hint
