You know you are getting old when:

My mom, bless her soul, thought I'd like elastic waist jeans so found me a couple of pair at a rummage sale to try. I liked them. That was when I was 50-ish. At round 55, I learned about cotton leggings (allergic to poly), and I haven't taken them off since. :gig I'm 65. I sleep in them, wear them around the house, and even have a few fancier pairs for going out.
The problem with elastic pants is, there isn’t a button you can open 🤪 we like eating, sometimes a lot, so, when I wear my comfy elastic pants, and start eating, they are no longer comfortable 🫣 if I wear pants with a zipper and button, I just pop open the button ( in bad cases, I also open the zipper 😳)

When buttoning your flannel shirt or the top button on your jeans hurts your hands, Is Velcro the next step? :barnie
No, just very comfy large things you can slip over your head, or on your legs, to keep the pants up, that’s why they invented suspenders! When I was younger, I didn’t get them, the older you are, the more you get stuff you didn’t understand when you were young ( for example a man helping you into your coat, when I was young, it was nice, but not necessary, now, with my shoulders acting up, I am really grateful!)

I just spent ten minutes listening to someone talk and wondering where the sound was coming from. At first I thought it was outside, this is the dog-walking hour and it's not uncommon for people to walk by talking on their phones. But I kept hearing it and there was no one walking by outside. Then I thought maybe my roommate had left her tablet on but I couldn't find it and she usually takes it with her (she's not home).

I finally figured out it was my own headphones. I had taken them off and set them down beside me and forgot there was a video playing.

How loud were your headphones? If I can hear the content outside of my headphones when they're set down I must have turned the volume up too much.
