I was old enough for beer, and I remember steel cans and "church keys". (We were irreverent in our youth, or so we thought),



and of course I remember these



I don't think anyone actually bought a bottle/can opener in those days.

yes so many where given away as promotions for companies, my parents had some, and I asked why they only had 4 or 5 numbers for phone numbers because I was smart enough if I wanted to use the phone I needed 7 numbers to dial (young enough that I was only allowed to call the kids down the street to see if they where home to ask them over or permission to visit).

You can remember when, by Federal Communications Commission regulation TV broadcast stations were limited to 3 minutes of advertising per half-hour. Two minutes on the hour and half hour and one minute on the quarter-hour was the norm.
