This magnificent creature is a good rooster. He is protective of his hens, non-aggressive with people, makes sure hens are fed before he eats. We bought day-old Reds from Murray Hatcheries and they sent a "gift" chick that was supposed to be an Ameracauna hen, but she's a he.

We are asking $10 for him or a young Rhode Island Red rooster in trade.
