I will try to get a pic up...

I have a young Buff Orpington Cockeral that I hatched out. He is awful long legged and tall and his comb is short. He isn't grown yet..but will he ever get out of that stage or should I try to get him out of my flock?
Thanks

If its any help, my buff orp roo took FOREVER to grow out. The girls matured far faster than he did. He's gorgeous now though! I think it just takes those boys a little longer.

I've also heard people say that they wait until their orps are 18 months before they make the final cull decisions. Good luck!

Give it another few months. BY the time he's 24 weeks he'll look realy good.

Here are all my hens and roosters at 9 1/2 weeks.
The roosters are obvious but just starting to develop

And here is a 16 week old rooster.
The tails have continued to get bigger all fall.
