I have 6 chicks and one of the SLW's has always been bigger than the rest (from when I got them at 3 days old). She is actually sweet and when the other SLW was ill 2 days ago she was kind and wanted to be close to her. That being said, is "she" a "he"? Does size mean much? They are all only 11 days old.

The big one here (her neck is up so she looks extra big)

Well I spent everyday last chick season analyzing my 30 something chicks. And I can telll you that some people can nail it but I never could. Even when there was tail size differences and combs were growing out. I figured I would have at least 10 roos. Nope, only one. Best way if you can wait till their neck feathers grow out. Roos have very pointy neck feathers, and hennies have rounded neck feathers. Sorry that doesn't answer anything now

Thanks for the info-10 out of 30 not bad. I just want to figure it out soon....it can be so consuming!!
