1) What type of bird , age and weight.

11 week old roo Cochin Large breed

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
Just got him yesterday standard young bird sounds

3) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
no broken bones

4) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
Just picked him up from the breeder

5) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all. Eating some drinking some.

6) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
worms new thing is runny and rusty colored

7) What has been the treatment you have administered so far? Nothing this is totally new to me

8 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
Would like to treat him my self. If I need to vet

It looks like Cocci to me..... You can try Terramycin, but alot of people on here like to use Sulmet. You should be able to find both at your local TSC....

Also you didn't mention what you were feeding him? I alway's start my chicks with medicated chick starter/grower.
