Hello again! The duckling I adopted from the central meatmarket in Athens, Greece, is now 4 months old and has started to lay eggs on a daily basis. She's supposedly a swedish blue (rather black) as you helped me to identify, but she's quite small and underweight, no more than 1300 grams, under 3 pounds. Is that OK? I mean, she is well-fed and nurtured, she seems to be in perfect health, but she is definitely small, more like a wild duck. And she's exceptionally good in flying! Can it be some kind of mix breed? Is it OK if she stays that small?

Do you have a photo of her ?
She’s fine if she’s laying daily. But if she’s the same size as a wild duck than she might be a ‘blue call’ duck.
