I place ducks and geese for the local rehabber. We currently have 4-5 young (teenage, young adult?) ducks about ready for placement. I have to ensure these are (1) pets only (not used for breeding for profit or used for dinner), (2) something is done to try to keep them safe from nighttime predators (I am open-minded about many possibilities as my own ducks live free range on my pond and we've done things to ensure their safety), and (3) they will be fed each day (not left just fend for themselves).
