I have 7 Cayugas and 3 mallards they are teenagers and almost feathered out.
I see this one "fatty" cayuga he's bigger than some of them and he pulls out the others feathers.
Now its not like a chicken nobody's bare or anything he just reaches and pulls out a couple little feathers. ( they squawk when he does it)
I saw him do it a couple times yesterday and twice this morning.
Is this normal behavior??
Could it be the pecking order in duck form?
