Young hen hasn't laid an egg since October.

I have an easter egger who was our first chicken to start laying in our first flock, purchased in the spring, and she consistently laid an egg per day until late October. I assumed it was because she was either molting or days got shorter, but do they really stop laying for 3 months? All the other hens have been laying an occasional egg all winter long.

I have several that stopped laying. I figured it was for the winter. ???? I'm wondering the same..

Some hens will stop laying until Feb comes around again. Just give her protein and she may just begin laying for you shortly again!

Usually pullets won't do that, but I have some too that stopped.

They can, even pullets.
EE can often be sporadic layers, stopping and starting seemingly at their whim.
