hey all, a few weeks ago this young girl started to not do well. I thought it might be early Cocci as other chicks were having symptom so I gave corrid and all have gotten better except her. She continues to worsen but very slowly. I’ve tried given nutridrench as well. Right now I’m feeding her chick food, scrambled eggs and water with nutridrench. I’ve put so much effort into saving her that I don’t want to lose her. Any help would be appreciated.

How long did you treat and at what dosage of Corid? How long ago did you stop it? She obviously is still sick, so I would try to get her droppings checked by the vet to see if she still has a lot of coccidia in her droppings. Or give her another round of Corid. Have they been outside on dirt yet?

If you have liquid Corid, give her 0.1 ml of the undiluted medicine twice a day, and make sure that she is drinking enough of the Corid water. Hopefully, she will feel better, but some chicks can suffer intestinal damage from coccidiosis.

Hi There.
Sorry to hear your chic, is unwell. Reason i am replying is because the last 2
weeks, i also had 2 of my girls ill. My first 8 pol we had was all vaccinated. My husband
made me a lovely double coop, and run. So thought i will buy 4 more. However they had
not had their jabs. I was worried sick, as i did not have anything in to give them. I came
on here and picked up a few great tips. Like yours they would not eat or drink. As my husband had feed syringes with his Marine fish tank, i brought them in the house. In seperate cages. The nursing began. I learn"t on here to scramble egg and then grate a little fresh liver. Of course before this i made sure they were drinking. I bought Poultry
Nutri drops and started on them. Not going to lie it was not easy. As i stayed up through the nights making sure they had plenty of drink inside them, and they were warm. i
tried them with egg and liver. Wow i think the Nutri drops gave them a boost, as next day
they started eating the egg +liver. Only bit by bit but it was a start. Also bought eye drops as their eyes were closed. Day by day they were getting stronger. So started them on some mash, also gave the apple cider vinegar to drink. If you look at my pics the light
sussex on top of ladder is LIL. Back to normal then the last pic, is TOOTSIE who i thought would never make it, but thank goodness she did. At the end of it all it was me who needed Nutri drops lol. I swear they helped no end, i bought them off AMAZON UK
next day delivery. Hope this helps a little my thoughts are with you, especially your chick.
If i can help any further then please get in touch.

Hi sorry i just sent you a message, however i did not notice your top one.I can see
you are already giving her eggs plus nutridrench. Plus her symtoms are not the same
as mine were. Mine had closed eyes and were also sneezing. So i am sorry for the confusion.
