I just bought a young pullet recently (2 days ago) and I noticed bloody stool. No one locals carries corid, so I will need to order from Jeffers, what can I give her until that get's here??

I would hate her to die in the mean time.

Sulmet will work too.....Good luck with your pullet. Cocci is very deadly, but if you treat it quickly, things will turn out just fine.

Mix powdered milk in her feed with plain yogurt and buttermilk....til you get the corid.

When I got chicks from Cackle 2 yrs. ago one arrived not too well and died. When I called them besides something for cocci (I didn't see blood) they said add 2 Tab. acid cider vinegar per gal. water.

Thanks everyone, My neighbor has something for it, so I am going to run over and get what he has, and I am still ordering the corid.. Need to be prepared next time.
