Indeed, looks like a RIR to me too. If he isnt what you are looking for, we have two young roosters we may be willing to rehome. It is fairly dependant on our resident rooster and if he lets them stay, or if he starts chasing them all day.

We are in central NH, but if you dont find what you need, and things go sour here, we would be willing to drive them to the right home....

Thank you, Jennyhaschicks. He is a very handsome boy. I would certainly pay you $5 for him! When would be a good time to get him? My mom is having surgery today and staying with me for the weekend, but I might be able to get that way next weekend?

So sorry I did not call you last night. I will be unable to get Moto at this time.

I have been dealing with a predator getting inside of the run and I woke up yesterday morning to discover a whole chewed right through their door! All girls are safe and sound but I have a feeling they had a pretty scary night! Whatever went in, ate all their food so I am thinking rat maybe?

So today I am going to try to find a better door and I have set traps outside in their run to try to catch whatever would of done this.

I appolgize for not calling you last night! I have been up every hour on the hour making sure they are okay.

That is no problem at all. It's not like I need to rehome him asap. He will be here when you want him.
Your poor girls. I am glad they are ok. I hope you are able to get whatever was in there. How scary I am sure.

Thanks Jenny. I just came in and had a huge mouse in one of the traps. It's not a rat (thank god) but a big fat mouse. Not sure if they would of chewed the door like it was but geezzz. I am going to keep setting the traps at night out in the run this week while girls are sleeping in coop. I hope that does the trick. I am going to Home Depot today and see what I can find for a cheap insulated door. Hopefully I can get in installed this weekend and see if that stops the problem.

I have Wed - Fri off for holiday. Maybe next weekend I can get Moto?
