I was given a pair of these birds. They are about a year old. Can someone help with their breed so I can learn more about them. Thanks soooooo much.

I'm guessing an OEGB or AGB. I think it's a game bird regardless Sorry not much help

the bottom one is silver leghorn and silkie mix (i think.. because of the eyes)

hmmm....you don't think they're the same? There's some obvious differences, i guess I just assumed they were the same breed though. There's some obvious similarities too. Very different personalities though!

We were looking through some chicken magazines today and came across the black sumatra breed. I know my chickens aren't totally black, but their body style and tail carriage are so much like the pictures I saw of the sumatras. Could they be a possible cross?? Any opinions?
