They are fighting because their feathers are puffed up. Mine don't push their featheres up as much so mine are always fine.

Even just a regular piece of velcro might work. The only thing different about this one is in the middle its separated. It works great.
The solid part goes on the front of the neck.

Sometimes they look normal with it on and sometimes not as you can see in these photos
