Young rooster behavior help!

How is he doing now?

have the opportunity to rehome him right now (I’m not exactly sure about where he would be going, but I’m adamant about him going somewhere where he will be cared for and not consumed)
If he becomes more aggressive toward you, you have a couple of options because he could certainly become a danger to you or others. Yes, a rooster can actually do a person serious bodily harm, especially to a child. But you've made it clear thst the death penalty is off the table, so I won't go there.

You could rehome him, as you've mentioned here. But you have a legal and moral obligation to disclose any information aboout him that could be a danger to anyone else.

And once you relinquish him, you have no say in what happens to him. His future is out of your hands.

Alternatively, you could keep him, and if he becomes aggressive you could keep him isolated in a pen by himself. But you'd have to figure out how to feed and water him safely and that could prove challenging. It would also be grossly unfair to him, as chickens are flock animals and don't do well in isolation.

I guess you can hope that the aggression doesn't escalate. Good luck.
