We are new to raising backyard chickens. The breeder from whom we got our 4 birds told us they were 4 hens but it turns out 1 is really a rooster. We love him but are not interested in breeding. We would like to find Brownie a good home. He is about 3.5 months old so we imagine he has some more growing to do.
