I have two 26 week old roosters and they periodically feel the need to test the waters. Definitely read Rooster-Red's page on the matter. He has great tips.

I have found once I've established the dominant position it helps to walk aggressively towards the boys when I'm out there. They like to kind of sidle up between me and their girls. If I turn around and stomp towards them somewhat aggressively, they turn right around and run away (muttering rooster curses under their breath). It keeps me from having to carry them around as much.

My rooster started doing that at 20 weeks to ( I wear crocs in the run too LOL) but what I do is carry him down to the mail box every day and he has never done it since

I read to carry him around if he tries to dominate you. It does work. Now he's just a comedian but real sweet.
