I've got a couple of 9 week old roosters, an Ameraucana and a Wheaten Marans.
It seems they are fighting a bit over the ladies. The Wheaten tries to "persuade" some of the ladies to his club, but the Ameraucana is protective. Wheaten backs down quickly. Guess he's a lover not a fighter.
I just don't like seeing them get into it. Also don't like seeing the pullets bullied and pushed around like that. (Even tho its probably not as bad as the Mrs. and I think.)
This is all new. Started noticing it this week. Is that normal for roosters at that young age?
